Some Thoughts for the day
Happy Grandparents Day!! Don't forget to call or email your Grandparents today!! http://www.funone.com/funpages/view.cfm/5384
Happy Birthday to my Mom who is 78 today. She has lived through the most changes in the history of the world. My mom is more opinionated that I am. {See I come by it naturally} She will tell you what she thinks of Bush - both of them, Kerry, Edwards, or almost any other politician out there, she knows her history and trust me, she is always right. If you think she is wrong, do not argue. Cause she is always right. Mom has a good heart and will help anyone she knows that needs it. She donates to charities around the USA and they send her silly things which she passes on to her daughter. ME. In the past two days I have been given 4 calendars. I have one in almost every room of the house now for 2005. I should know better than to buy my own calendar.....;-) She loves my puppies and my Grandson. Can't wait for the new great granddaughter in November. She wishes my oldest son would get on the stick and make her a great grandma again. Wishes there was peace in the world but knows way better than to expect that. There is not always peace in the family! How can the world have it? My mom loves you just the way you are.....but you would look better with shorter hair or longer hair or lose weight or gain weight....... you get the idea. She is one of my best friends. I do love my mom just the way she is... with all her faults and goodness wrapped up in one small 4'11" package of fireworks waiting to happen.
Titles Are Now For Everyone!
Up until now if you wanted a Title you either had to inherit it, or wait for a call from Her Majesty the Queen. Now for only $69.99 you can purchase souvenir plots of land for sale, giving you and your descendants the opportunity to own a part of Scottish Highland history and become a Scottish Laird; widely recognised as the equivalent of the English title ‘Lord'.
Purchasing one of our souvenir land plots means you will legally bear the Title; "Laird of Glencairn" or "Lady of Glencairn" In addition to this, by purchasing one of our souvenir plots of land in the Highlands of Scotland you will be investing in a piece of Scottish history which can be handed down from generation to generation. The souvenir plots of land for sale measure one square foot (12" x12" ) and are situated at Glencairn in the historic Highland County of Caithness in Scotland. "Scottish Highland Titles are a special and unique gift idea with historical references and up-to-date environmental concerns" With each plot of land purchased the "Laird" (owner of land in Scotland) receives a handsome Land Title Deed measuring "8.5 " x 11" together with a map, personal plot number, exclusive "Proof of Title" card, plan of site and access instructions. Suitably framed, the Land Title Deed, which under Scots Law and custom entitles the owner (male or female) usage of the title "Laird", or "Lady" for females, makes a most impressive wall display. Those who have already purchased souvenir plots for relatives or friends have found that they make an excellent and unique gift for any occasion. About Glencairn - This is a once in a lifetime chance for you and your successors to own a piece of Scottish Highland History and legally bear the title "Laird of Glencairn" in the historic Highland County of Caithness. Near Glencairn you will also find another two ancient sites; The Cairn O’ Get, and the mysterious Hill O’ Many Stanes. These rows of stones set out on the hillside date from the Bronze Age. Many of the place names in Caithness bear witness to the Viking invasion of Britain, names such as Lybster, Scrabster, Camster, Keiss and Freswick.
Help Preserve a Piece of Scotland!
As a “Laird of Glencairn” you will help these natural areas to survive, as this area has been set aside as a nature preserve. This could be the last chance to preserve one of the most strikingly beautiful landscapes in Great Britain (perhaps even in the world) for future generations. As a necessary part of our ongoing conservation & regeneration programme, we are currently replanting these areas with many native species of deciduous trees; including, Rowan, Alder, Willow, Hornbeam etc, to help create a natural mixed woodland where local flora and fauna can survive and live in safety.
All for the low price of $69.99 you can own a 12 inch by 12 inch plot of land and help preserve the natural resources. I suppose it is a good idea.... they even have a map for you to see where this place is.
