Well that was a weird way to wake up. Hearing your phone ringing and not being able to answer the cordless at your head. I thought I accidentally unplugged it. I had no idea the power was off. Got up and went to the bathroom and figured it out pretty quick. Our whole block was out. That is a pain in the rear end. No air and no fans. Sat outside and talked to my mom and her neighbor for over an hour. It is not humid out and it is actually nice and cool now. I am going to open the windows for a day. Let the house air out!
The power going off is a weird thing though. It quit raining hours ago here and the power went off at 10 pmish. There is no rhyme or reason for that to happen. No one hit a pole with a transformer on it. This seems to be happening on a regular basis though. I am going to call Ameren UE tomorrow and find out why our little grid is doing this.
