Well yesterday started of ok. It ended in in such a way that I am surprised I have not had a nervous breakdown. (I am not sure there is not one in the process but I digress)
I woke up, my mother called and needed something from the store. I said ok I would do it in a little bit. Then one of my bosses called and asked if I could take him to the office downtown as his car blew the head gasket on the way home. I said sure. Cause I hate to have folks stranded and well yeah he is one of my bosses. Brownie points never hurt. Then I go to the grocery store for my mother. Get what she needs. Spend some time with the granddaughter and then go home to take a nap cause I work overnight.
Now mind you, the ENTIRE time I am out, there is sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. I closed my windows and went in and took my nap. Got up a little early cause I was supposed to do an RP scene with someone on IRC and woke up to Storms and rain. No biggie unless the power goes out. It is all good right? Right!
I then find out the happy person I am supposed to do an RP session with wants the VST there. OOOOKKKKKKKKK STs in IRC is a bad thing when someone is proxied to where you are. VST never showed up... Good thing.. Cause when I found out what it was about, I got really pissed off. we will get to that LATER. Cause After I exploded and sent a nasty email, I decided to take 24... so.. we will discuss this later.
I get ready for work, go out to my car, get in and sit down and I am soaking wet. Now, I love my Kia van for many many reasons. The biggest one is the sun roof (which I forgot to close because it was warm and sunshining when I went to bed). Now I should tell you that it was not just raining, it was storming. Pouring down rain cats and dogs. I had 2 inches of rain in my van. I was already pissed off, so this just made my night.
Thankfully nothing else happened. Because otherwise this post would be coming from the rubber room at the hospital.
