seardarklight is the one for our cafe and Jan, the other supervisor got the job today and she will be in charge of kids, sidelines and bargain books. From my previous post, Michael is leaving with no one to replace him and Drew is also leaving and a new person, Julie, has replaced him. Well she is not new to the store just new to the job. This means that I get to do nothing but multimedia (music and movies). Now that will be new for me because I have had both multimedia and kids... but, I now have a lot of task time so I will be able to take care of the department along with Kathy who already knows what she is doing. Between us we can handle the whole thing. It got frustrating because everyone I had was scheduled for time in the department but then were sent everywhere BUT the department. Very frustrating for them and me. I got the cage back too. That makes a HUGE difference in doing my job. I will be able to get more done with that as well.
Tomorrow is new release day! Yippie.. Nothing big this week! I already got in the Star Wars DVD collection for release for next Tuesday. Speaking of Star Wars, we have Light Sabers now. To the tune of $99.99. Now while I think they are neat, I am not sure they are worth $99.99. You get a choice of blue (Luke Skywalker) or purple (Mace Windu) They make noise and light up and all but.... our GM had a wonderull playing with one since they came in. He was a changed man with that in his hands... you know the saying.. boys and their toys.... ;-)
