stormiestlI recntly read The Godfather Returns. It is a wonderful return to the Corleone family and it admirably filled in the gaps between the movies. Pith Puzo's blessing I might add. There is a bigger gap between Godfather II and Godfather III that I would like to see explored. All in all I would recommend this book.
I just finished The Romanov Prophecy. This book is an excellent read and has mystery and intrigue and all that fun stuff. Most of it covers history with a twist. I also would reccomend this book.
Books I did not like include Shadowmancer. It was hyped as the Christian Harry Potter and believe me.... the book will piss you off even if you are a Christian. The Preacher in this book turns EVIL as all get out and tells the folks that Tarot reading is of the devil and various other things. The plot stank and I will not read book two that is now out. They did not even hype book two.
I have read the Davinci Code and Angels & Demons by Dan Brown and believe me, they are awesome books. What I am trying to figure out is what all the silliness is about with these two books? Are all religious fanatics stupid? This book is FICTION! Albeit there are facts in there that can not be disputed but it is listed quite clearly as FICTION. In our store it is in the MYSTERY/THRILLER section. Still fiction nonetheless.
