stormiestlWell now... new drugs.. bring new and interesting situations...
Drugs I am currently taking...
For the back spasms: Vicodin, Flexorel, Ibuprofen 600 mg
For the Fibromyalgia: Nortriptyline - will get back to this one later. It is a new one.
For the asthma: Flovent, Albuterol, and my machine full of drugs if I need it
For the chest pains... not heart related, Pepcid.
The only good thing about my doctor visit was the fact that I do not have to take my blood pressure meds anymore..
Now... as to the Nprtriptuline..... Last night was the first time I took it. Let me tell you about my night... I took it about 9 pm. (It says bedtime but, I never know what a new medicine is going to do so i took it earlier than normal and I am on vacation so.. I can see what it does in the morning.) I watched a movie called Dust to Dust. That was strange.. but about an hour after I took it, I got very giddy and felt kind of like a high after smoking pot, without the munchies. This lasted a couple of hours after I went to bed when the movie was over. Very Very Strange. Needless to say the hubby was not happy with me and finally to get some sleep went to the downstairs bedroom. I woke up once after going to sleep. I slept about 4 hours and then another 4 hours got up and then slept another 4 hours. Not sure how this is going to work for me. I did not feel logey when waking up the second time but was still tired which I should have been from my sleep pattern over the weekend. 4 hour sleep pattern is ok.. it sure beats waking up every hour like I normally do. The third time I got up I stayed up and still feel ok. Not tired at all now and am getting things done for Gen Con.
I will do this again tonight. I shall see how it works this evening. If I do this again, I am calling the doctor.
