St. Stanislaus Kostka Church

I was raised Catholic and this entire situation is a slap in the face. Archbishop Burke is wrong for doing this. I wholeheartedly support St. Stanislaus in their right to run their chuch they way they have for over 124 years. They have asked for NO money ever from the Archdiocese and have donated generously over the years for whatever special things the Archdiocese needed money for. They have been self sufficient all this time. It is a Historical Landmark. What Burke wants is it's $9.5 million dollars in assets. None of which the Archdiocese has EVER put a penny into. I am so fumed about this entire issue. I have not gone to Catholic church in a long time, but I might just start going again at St. Stanislaus. They have what I have been looking for for a long time in the Catholic Church! Faith. Faith in what they believe to be right and just and in their God and damn anyone who tries to take that away from them.

Being as I am a person who does not see much good in large religous groups, this whole incident is just giving me even more reasons not to want to take part in Catholic charities.

And what the folks at St. Stanislaus are doing is making me what to support them.
