St. Stanislaus is no longer a member of the Catholic Church. Archbishop Burke has stripped the parish of it's standing in the Roman Catholic Faith http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/stlouiscitycounty/story/7C1EAD3880BC234F862570EF001E7787?OpenDocument&highlight=2%2C%22st.%22+AND+%22stanislaus%22

WalMart not in charge of it's healthcare. Beaten by Maryland. http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/retail/2006-01-12-walmart-maryland_x.htm?csp=15 I would like to see this continue and WalMart be put in it's place. It is a start to show them that they should not be telling companies what they will sell their product for and make force those companies to go outside the US so they CAN sell to WalMart at their prices.

It seems to me that there are significant historical parallels between this debacle and the one involving King Henry of England. When the English king disagreed with the Pope over policy decisions, the Pope excommunicated him. That didn't make the man fall over in a faint and apologize, so His Holiness was forced to up the stakes and place all of England under Interdict.

The result? See "Church of England".
